Sunset Hills Residents are asked for Input & Review of a new
Sidewalk Accessibility Plan – AKA an “ADA Transition Plan”
The City of Sunset Hills is developing through the efforts of Oates Associates Engineering, a Sidewalk Evaluation and Transition Plan. These plans help to make a community more accessible and pedestrian friendly. The proposed document identifies what are termed “barriers” for those with mobility disadvantages in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act or the “ADA.”
The plan will provide guidance on the removal and connection of barriers with long term direction. A copy of the Draft of this plan can be found linked on the opening page of the City website of sunset-hills.com
We encourage all residents to provide feedback of the proposal. The page at the Sunset Hills website also includes a link to relatively short survey for electronic input.
Those who would prefer to view a hard copy and comment in paper form can do so at the Public Works Office of City Hall located at 3939 S. Lindbergh, Sunset Hills, MO 63127
Upon request, reasonable accommodations can be provided to review the plan and complete the survey by contacting Paige at City Hall, 314-849-3400.
