2023 City Hall Roof Replacement

The City of Sunset Hills intends to replace the roof at City Hall.  The Public Works Department assembled a set of plans & specifications and solicited this project to roofing contractors in the St. Louis metro area.  A copy of those plans & specifications can be found at: /DocumentCenter/View/8368/Bid-Package 

The bid date is 9-5-23 at 10:00am.  Bids result will be presented to the Board of Aldermen at their meeting on 9-12-23 for consideration.  Construction is set for October and updates on the progress will be posted here.

PROJECT UPDATE

  • 9-5-23 - One bid was received for this project from Stark Roofing  totaling $68,476.00 with $75.00 per sheet of any plywood requiring replacement.
  • 9-7-23 - The Public Works Committee recommended approval of this bid to the Board of Aldermen.
