Daily Admission
Open swim is Monday - Sunday from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 7:00 p.m.
Must get Resident ID Card at the Community Center (3915 S. Lindbergh Blvd) before going to the Aquatic Facility (12512 W. Watson Rd) & paying the appropriate daily rate. This allows our front desk staff to accurately charge patrons & move through the line quicker.

Guest Policy
All Aquatic Membership and Resident ID card holders are allowed to bring any number of guests with them on any given day at the resident daily rate.
Memberships

Aquatic Memberships are seasonal and are only good for the current pool season. There is no "pro-rated pricing" of Aquatic Membership purchases late in the season. Aquatic Members allow access to "Member"/Resident pricing on programs such as swim lessons, water aerobics and swim team.
Gold Memberships include access to both the Fitness Center and the Aquatic Facility for a calendar year from the date purchased.
"Family" is considered as anyone currently living in the same household up to 5 people. Family members may be added for $20 for Residents and $40 for Lindbergh and Non-Residents. Business Adult and Family Memberships are available at the Lindbergh rate if you work within Sunset Hills city limits with a current pay stub.
"Senior" is anyone ages 60+
"Child" is anyone ages 3-15

Aquatic Facility Weather + Attendance Policy
Lightning or Thunder
If lightning is sighted or thunder is heard, the pool will close immediately and will remain closed for at least 30 minutes after the last observed lightning or thunder. Weather conditions will be reassessed every 15 minutes. If the pool remains closed for more than one hour, the Manager on Duty can choose to close the facility for the remainder of that shift.
Please note that the opening of the facility may be delayed due to inclement weather.
Temperature
Early Morning Programs (6:30 – 11:30 AM)
Early morning aquatic programs may operate in cooler temperatures depending on program type, provided there are no active weather hazards (lightning, thunder, severe weather warnings). The temperature will be checked at 6:00 AM.
Program-Specific Guidelines
- Swim & Dive Team / Lap Swim
- May operate when the air temperature is 65°F or warmer.
- Swim Lessons (Youth & Adult)
- May operate when the air temperature is 68°F or warmer.
- Water Aerobics
- May operate when the air temperature is 68°F or warmer.
- River Walk / Leisure Programs
- May operate when the air temperature is 68°F or warmer.
If the air temperature is below the minimum threshold for a scheduled program at 6:00 AM:
That program will be canceled or delayed at the discretion of the Manager on Duty.
Decisions will be communicated to participants as early as possible via TextMyGov or other designated communication channels.
Recreational Swimming (12:00–7:00 PM)
To open the aquatic facility for recreational swimming, the outdoor air temperature must be at least 70°F by 11:00 AM.
If the temperature is 70°F or higher at 11:00 AM, the facility will open as scheduled at 12:00 PM.
If the temperature is below 70°F at 11:00 AM, the facility will remain closed for the first shift (12:00 – 3:30 PM).
- A second temperature check will be conducted at 2:30 PM.
- If the temperature has reached 70°F or higher by 2:30 PM, the facility will open for the second shift (3:30 – 7:00 PM).
- If the temperature remains below 70°F at 2:30 PM, the facility will be closed for the remainder of the day.
Rain
The facility may remain open during rain unless lifeguards are unable to clearly see the bottom of the pool/main drain. In such cases, the pool will be closed for a minimum of 15 minutes and then reevaluated for visibility. If the pool remains closed for over an hour, the Manager on Duty can choose to close the facility for the remainder of the day.
Tornado Warning
In the event of a tornado warning, all patrons must immediately take shelter in the designated restrooms or leave the facility. Minors under the age of 18 without a guardian must enter their designated restroom. Once inside, patrons are expected to follow instructions from pool staff regarding tornado procedures. The facility will close immediately and will remain closed for at least 30 minutes after the last warning has been lifted.
General Weather Closures
Aquatic facility closures are at the discretion of the Manager on Duty. The Aquatic Supervisor and/or the Director of Parks and Recreation also reserve the right to close the facility based on weather conditions or forecasts. All closure announcements will be communicated via the TextMyGov notification system.
Low Attendance Policy
During periods of low attendance, Sunset Hills Parks and Recreation reserves the right to close the entire facility or specific pools and attractions within the facility.
No refunds will be issued due to closures resulting from low attendance. Discretion for the Pool Manager on Duty based on time spent at the facility.
Day Camp Visits
Below is the average, approximate number of day campers visiting our pool each day of the week. Camps are only allowed to visit Monday through Thursday.
